The Town of Argyle is unique in many ways. One of the most significant aspects of this community is the manner in which the town is geographically situated. Housing can essentially be classified into 3 categories:
· Large Estates- The Town of Argyle has numerous large equestrian and agricultural estates. Most of these estates rest upon land in excess of 50 acres. While this webpage does not identify these estates, you are welcome to contact us regarding information about them.
· Subdivided Communities- Generally speaking, all housing pockets are in subdivided areas. In Argyle, there are a number of housing areas that are known by their community areas. This website will identify some of the prominent ones for you.
· Corridors- A number of roads criss-cross the Town of Argyle. On this website, these areas are referred to as corridors and identified by their names.
Likewise, the Argyle Independent School District does not geographically coincide with the Town of Argyle map. Some of the areas identified on this website do not lie inside of the Town of Argyle, however are included on this page because they have significant impact on Argyle ISD.

1) Argyle Town Village- An all-green community on HWY 377, Argyle Town Village blends a taste of turn-of-the-century housing with modern energy efficiencies. Homes in this community are mostly on less than 1/4acre lots. 2) Badminton Heights- Just outside of the Town of Argyle off from the Frenchtown Corridor, this community is comprised of homes on 2-5acres and has a Hill Country feel.

3) Britt- Britt is on the north side of Hickory Hill just east of the town limits. A wandering road, Britt has a number of established homes that are mostly on at least one acre.
4) Country Lakes- Currently the largest subdivision in the Town of Argyle. Providing a variety of housing, the community offers walking trails, recreation areas and a community pool. Buyers need to be careful- not all homes in Country Lakes are located in the Argyle ISD.
5) Country Club Village- Located just off from HWY 377 north of the Town of Argyle, this subdivision is home to great views of the golf course, approximately 1/3 + acre lots and Argyle Independent School District.

6) Frenchtown Manner-Notably a single street community with large estate style homes. Frenchtown Manner offers seclusion and upscale living.
7) Old Town- Located in the town center, the Old Town District boasts a variety of both new and old homes. A true community area that is redeveloping into a walk around community.

8) Pilot Knob- Located just off from I-35W and Country Club Rd, this area provides higher end homes on multi-acre lots.
9) Meadows at Hickory Creek- This subdivision is not located in the Town of Argyle. It does however provide newer tract-homes within the Argyle ISD area. A nice community with entry level housing just out of the Town of Argyle.
10) Shenandoah- A small pocket of homes located off from Stonecrest Rd on the south side of town. Established in the 80s & 90s these homes are on at least 1 acre.
11) Steeplechase- A single street loop off from east FM 407, this community offers homes on at least 1 acres and has a secluded feel.
12) Sunrise Cir- Sunrise Circle is on the south side of town on the Stonecrest corridor. It is host to manufactured and smaller homes.
13) The Hills of Argyle- Located on the north side of Argyle, the Hills of Argyle is a large subdivision of 1-5 acre homesites. The homes span a variety of architectural variety and price.
14) Thornridge Cir- A small pocket of established estate homes located just off from Country Club Rd. This area has great appeal with heavily treed sites.
15) Tuscany Hill and Liberty Crossing- Located off from the Frenchtown corridor, these two communities boast multi acre estates and a mixture of architectural styles.
16) Woods of Argyle- Multi-acre estates located just off from FM 407 West. These home sites have vast views and groves of trees.
17) Skyline- Seen from Interstate 35, Skyline feeds a secluded pocket of homes. Known for the wide, tree lined street and older estate homes, Skyline is a beautiful pocket to call home.
B. FM 1830- FM 1830 borders the eastern side of The Town of Argyle. It is a picturesque road with canopies of leaves. Homes on FM 1830 are mostly on acreage and vary in architectural styles. C. Frenchtown- This corridor primarily spans the area between HWY 377 and Bartonville on the southeastern part of the Town of Argyle. Frenchtown Corridor provides access to many subdivisions and hosts a number of free standing properties. D. Old Justin- A unique and transitioning street, Old Justin Rd provides east-west access to the west part of the town. Most properties on Old Justin Road are at least one acre and are dotted with equestrian properties. E. Country Club Road- The northern most road in Argyle that spans the entire town, Country Club Rd provides east-west access. Homes along Country Club Rd are unique in design and encompass a number of architectural styles and sizes. F. Hickory Hill- Beginning in the Old Town area and traveling east, Hickory Hill is a tree lined road with a wide variety of homes and estates. A slow paced road it is a local favorite for walks and biking. G. Harpole- An east-west road that serves the eastern side of The Town of Argyle, Harpole lies just on the north of Argyle High School. Harpole Rd boasts a relaxed pace with a wide variety of homes and estates. H. Settlement and Forest Trail- A winding road that serves the west side of the Town of Argyle, Settlement and Forest Trail holds several smaller equestrian properties and residential properties on acreage. I. Stonecrest- Running north-south from FM 407 Stonecrest connects to HWY 377 south of town. The stonecrest area is home to many of the most established residential site in the Town of Argyle.

A. FM 407- The main east-west corridor in Argyle, FM 407 spans the entire town. Homes on FM 407 vary in price, size and architectural appeal.
